2015 Los Angeles Auto Show: GLS class / AMG GLS 63 released
At this Los Angeles Auto Show, Mercedes - Benz officially released GLS-class models, while Mercedes -AMG GLS 63 also officially unveiled.
Mercedes - Benz GLS-class can be seen as the current GL-Class mid-term facelift, in appearance, the new car shape is still hardcore, front air intake grille use dual horizontal three-dimensional banner design, and in the center with a large size Logo. In addition, the car headlight group use family design, integrated into LED daytime running lights. With the new front bumper shape and chrome trim, make the new car looks so overbearing.
Mercedes -AMG GLS 63 in appearance is even more highlight GLS-Class sporty, compared with the normal version Mercedes--AMG GLS 63 front bumper styling more exaggerated, both side large size air intakes with black grille design makes the car look more aggressive.
In addition, the new car body original chrome windows lines and luggage rack are use black coating design, to further heighten the atmosphere. While the tail part, the new car in bottom of the rear bumper design with a large size spoiler, and use bilateral co-four exhaust layout.
Mercedes -AMG GLS 63 in interior design and the new Mercedes - Benz GLS level to maintain consistency, only in material have adjusted, the new car center control use carbon fiber material to match, at the same time, the new car also use AMG unique three-spoke sport steering wheel and Nappa leather sport seats.
In power, GLS-class have many kinds of power optional, which GLS 450 equipped with with 3.0T V6 twin-turbo engine, the maximum power output of 367 horsepower and peak torque of 500 Nm. GLS 550 equipped with V8 supercharged engine, the maximum power output of 461 horsepower and peak torque of 700 Nm. As performance version, Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 the maximum power output of 585 horsepower and peak torque of 761 Nm.
Transmission system, Transmission system, Mercedes - Benz GLS-class models equipped with 9-speed automatic gearbox, also comes standard with 4MATIC four-wheel drive system. Mercedes -AMG GLS 63 is equipped with SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC dual-clutch gearbox.
In test, the Mercedes - Benz GLS class and AMG GLS 63 model all can still use the new generation MB STAR C4 with the latest Xentry software to diagnosis all the system. Mercedes Benz MB Star Diagnose C4 is the latest one on market for all current and new coming MB vehicles. Support wireless and lan cable connection, K line,CAN BUS and UDS protocol than MB STAR C3.
